U.S. Rehab’s 2017 Tech Training schedule has been set. Similar to last year, we will be offering a beginner and advanced session at each of our locations. Dates and locations for this three-day seminar are below. Registration will be opening soon.
- April 4-6: Philadelphia, Penn.
- June 13-15: Heartland Conference, Waterloo, Iowa
- August 8-10: Houston, Texas
- October 17-19: Denver, Colo.
A beginner track and an advanced track are offered to allow education content to be tailored to the techs’ skill levels. Technical trainers from Permobil, Motion Concepts, Sunrise Medical and Invacare will present programming, repair and troubleshooting techniques. MK Battery and U.S. Rehab’s technical trainer, Matt Macpherson, will teach on batteries. Beginner-level attendees will have the opportunity to fully disassemble then reassemble a power wheelchair. The advanced-level track includes an introduction to seating and positioning for techs.
We suggest that any tech who has less than two years’ experience attend the beginner session and any tech with more than two years’ experience can take the advanced session. Please visit our website for additional details.
If your company has not sent a tech to Tech Training in the past, you are missing out on additional discounts from Permobil, Motion Concepts, Invacare and MK Battery. Click here for more information.
