It is a very critical time in our industry and we must push each day for the things that affect each and every one of us. The first month purchase option is one of those items as it will affect accessibility and members ability to provide a valuable service. If our members are unable to maintain a healthy cash flow and provide equipment in the market segments while adhering to the mandated requirements. Please see attached the Dear Colleague with Rep. Jim Langevin (D-2nd RI) and Rep. Glenn Thompson (R-5th PA) as co-leads requesting a one-year delay of the elimination of the first-month purchase option provision.
According to the Thompson’s Congressional staff, the Dear Colleague and accompanying sign-on letter will be circulated to all House offices this afternoon.
