NCART and NRRTS to partner for 2013 National CRT Conference

Another Step Forward for Complex Rehab Technology

NCART and NRRTS to partner for 2013 National CRT Conference

The mission of protecting and improving access to Complex Rehab Technology continues to be a priority

for CRT suppliers and manufacturers. To provide a forum for CRT education, networking, and advocacy

the National Coalition for Assistive and Rehab Technology (NCART) and the National Registry of

Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (NRRTS) will be holding a “National CRT Leadership and Advocacy

Conference” in Arlington, Virginia on April 30 through May 2, 2013.

The theme of the three day conference is “Promoting the Future of CRT”.

In today’s world, information is critical and time is limited. With this in mind, the national CRT

conference will combine three events into one program:

– CRT Leadership Day- A first time event, this segment will consists of business presentations and

breakout sessions for the management teams of suppliers and manufacturers. All information

will be CRT specific. The day will be capped by an industry reception for networking and

– The National Medicaid Summit- Medicaid funding is critical to CRT access. In its third year, this

segment will cover the latest Medicaid trends, issues, and advocacy strategies relating to CRT

coverage and payment.

– CELA- The historic cornerstone of advocating in Washington, this segment will focus on federal

advocacy and the Separate Benefit Category. The orientation, state delegation meetings, and

visits to Members of Congress will allow consumers, clinicians, suppliers, and manufacturers to

come together and deliver the CRT message.

The goal of the conference is to allow CRT stakeholders to come together in one place for high value

education, networking, and advocacy. If you are a CRT supplier or manufacturer you’ll want to have

your company represented all three days! If you are a consumer advocate or clinician you’ll want to

attend days two and three. Program details and registration options will be announced in the coming

months, so for now SAVE THE DATE and share the conference announcement with others.
