Workshop Description: The Delivery Technician Certification™ Program (DTCP) is a national certification course for personnel responsible for medical equipment delivery, set up, and patient education. The course also tests the delivery technicians understanding and comprehension of the federal rules and regulations governing the delivery of medical equipment and potentially hazardous materials such as oxygen and nitrous oxide gases. Accrediting organizations and CMS Quality Standards dictate that all personnel involved with the delivery of equipment and supplies, as well as patient education and care, understand the federal regulations governing the delivery of home healthcare. In addition, accrediting organizations also require all personnel involved with patient care have a working knowledge of industry accepted standards and practices. All of these areas are addressed in the DTCP!
Who should attend the DTCP: Store Owners, Managers, Dispatchers, Drivers, Technicians & Respiratory Therapists.
